1066.\ 1 f F i r •• 10i e . 1 1% ORDINANCE NO. 1066 10 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 6, PERTAINING TO BOATS, DOCKS AND WATERWAYS, BY ADDING A NEW SECTION 6-14, BOATS, VESSELS, BARGES--WHERE PROHIBITED; AMENDING SECTION 13-132, PEDDLING FROM VEHICLES--WHERE PROHHITED, OF ARTICLE Vii, PEDDLERS, SOLICITORS AND CANVAS- SERS OF CHAPTER 13, PERTAINING TO LICENSES AND REGULATIONS; AND AMENDING CHAPTER 15, PERTAINING TO PARKS AND RECREATION BY ADDING A NEW SECTION 15-190, BOATS, VESSELS, BARGES--WHERE PROHIBITED, OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, 1962, TO SPECIFICALLY SET OUT THE AREAS IN WHICH PEDDLING FROM AND OPERATION OF BOATS, VESSELS AND BARGES ARE PROHIBITED; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CON- FLICT; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY FOR FAILURE TO COMPLY THEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR THE SEPARABILITY OF THE PROVISIONS THEREOF AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Section 1. Chapter 6, Pertaining to Boats, Docks and Waterways, of the Code of Ordinances, City of Clearwater, Florida, 1962, is hereby amended by adding thereto a new Section 6-14 to read as follows: Sec. 6-14. Boats, Vessels, Barges--Where Prohibited. No person shall operate any type of boat, vessel or barge, whether mechanized or not, within a distance of five hundred (500) feet from -the shoreline of any public beach owned by the City of Clearwater, along the Gulf of Mexico side of Clearwater Beach, Florida, except when within the designated channel marked through Clearwater Pass, and except in the case of an emergency. t t' Prohibited, of Article Vii, Peddlers, Solicitors and Canvassers, of Chapter 13, pertaining to Licenses and Regulations, of the Code of Ordinances, City of Clearwater, Florida, 1962, is hereby amended to read as follows; Sec. 13-132.
