ORDINANCE NO. 1055
AN ORDINANCE ZONING AND ESTABLISHING FIRE DISTRICT
CLASSIFICATIONS FOR-NEWLY ANNEXED PROPERTY INTO
THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
WHICH PROPERTY HAS NOT BEEN PREVIOUSLY ZONED,
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the Legislature of the State of Florida passed a bill designated
as Senate-House #314 on April 22, 1965, and the Governor of the State of Florida
signed said bill on April 26, 1965; and
WHEREAS, said bill designated as Senate-House #314 redefined the
boundaries of the City of Clearwater and included certain tracts of land which
were not before included Ln the boundaries of the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, said newly annexed and included tracts had not been
previously zoned under the zoning ordinances of the City of Clearwater;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1, The City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 26- 19 and
Section 26-32 of the Code of Ordinances. City of Clearwater. Florida, 1962,
hereby establishes the following municipal zoning and fire district classifications
on the following described real property;
South 198 feet of the North 528 feet of the East 165 feet of
the East 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4 of
Section 15, Township 29 South, Range 15 East, Pinellas
County, Florida, is hereby zoned "R- lE" (Single Family)
and designated as Fire District No. 2,
AND
West 75 feet of the North. 516 feet.of the West 1/4 of the
Southwest 1/,4 of the Southwest 1/+4 of Section 14, Township
29 South, Range 15 East, Pinellas County, Florida, less
the North 330 feet thereof, is hereby zoned "R-1E" (Single
Family) and designated as Fire District No. 2,

Beginning at the half section corner on the East boundary of
Section 11, Township 29 South, Range 15 East; Pinellas County,
Florida, run West 792 feet for P. O. B. ; thence North 976 feet
West 1343 feet, South 900 feet; thence South 500, West 116 feet
to the North line of the Northwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/4;
thence East 1432 feet to P. O. B. ; less East 660. 12 feet, is
hereby zoned "R-1Dt' (Single Family) and designated as Fire
District No, 2,
AND
North 29 feet M. O. L. of the East 868 feet M. O, L. of the
Southwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 18, Township 29
South, Range 16 East, is hereby zoned "R.- lE" (Single Family)
and designated as Fire District No. 2.
Section Z. The City Engineer and the City Clerk are hereby directed to
include and set forth and show upon the official zoning map and other official
maps of the City of Clearwater the foregoing property zoning and fire district
classifications,
Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective irnmediately upon
its passage.
