ORDINANCE NO. 1037
AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY
OF CLEARWATER TO ANNEX A PORTION OF SECTION Z,
TOWNSHIP Zq QOUTH, RANGE 15 EAST, PINELLAS COUNTY,
FLORIDA, TOGETHER WITH ALL ABUTTING STREETS INTO
THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, UPON THE F.;XPIRATI0M OF THIRTY (30) DAYS
FROM THE PASSING OF THIS ORDINANCE, ACCORDING TO
THE PROVISIONS OF `:ECTION 171, 04, FLORIDA STATUTES,
1963, AND PROVIDING FOR THE r_FFM- CTIVI" DATE OF
THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISuION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER.
FLORIDA:
Section 1, The City of Clearwater, Florida, acting by and through its
City Commission, hereby declares its intention to annex into the corporate
limito of the City of Clearwater, Florida, the following described parcel
lying contiguous to the territorial limits of sand City and containing less
than ten (10) registered electors;:
The Vi est one-half (Vii -1 / Z) of the South one-half (S - I / Z)
of the Southwest Quarter (SW-1/4) of the southwest Ouarter
(SVY -1/4) of Section Z, Township 29 South, Range 15 East,
Pinellas; County, Florida, together with all abutting streets.
Section Z, The City of Clearwater, acting by and through ito City
Commission, intends to annex the foregoing land according to the provisions
of Section 171. 0+4 of the Florida Statutes, 1SA63, and to that end the City Clerk
in hereby directed to publish this Ordinance ifs the Clearwater Sun, a newspaper
published in the City of Clearwater, once a week for four consecutive weeks
immediately after the passage of this Ordinance.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage.

The West One-half (W-1/2) of the South One-half
(S-1/2)of the Southwest Quarter (SW-1/4) of the

SUBJECT, HOWEVER, to the right of way of a public
thoroughfare over the West 33 feet of the trace
