AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY
OF CLEARWATER TO ANNEX A PORTION OF SECTION 19,
TOWNSHIP Z9 SOUTH, RANGE 16 EAST, PINELLAS COUNTY,
FLORIDA AND A PORTION OF SECTION 14, TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH,
RANGE 15 EAST, PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA, TOGETHER
WITH ALL ABUTTING STREETS, INTO THE CORPORATE'LIMITS
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, UPON THE EX-
PIRATION OF THIRTY (30) DAYS FROM THE PASSING OF THIS
ORDINANCE, ACCORDING., TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION
171.04, FLORIDA STATUTES, 1963, AND PROVIDING FOR THE
EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY MiE CITY COMNIISSiON OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City of Clearwater, Florida, acting by and through its
City Commission, hereby declares its intention to annex into the corporate
limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida, the following described parcels lying
contiguous to the territorial limits of said City and each containing less than
ten (10) registered electors,
From the NW corner of Section 19, Township Z9 South, Range 16
East run S 0°0114111 E along the West line of said Section 19, 669.43
feet to the NW corner of the S 1/2 of the NW 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of
said Section 19; thence run S 3905513511 E 1391.35 feet to the NE
corner of Lot 2l of Morningside Estates Unit 1 (see Plat Book 59,
pages 58 and 59, Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida);
thence continue a 8905813511 E 1086. 57 feet to the NE corner of
the S 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section 19; thence run
S 005110611 W along the N-S centerline of said Section 19, 676', 46
feet to the SE corner of the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section

lie within the City limits, containing 22. 63 Acres M. O. L., together
with all abutting streets.
Section 2. The City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, intends to annex the foregoing lands according to the provisions
of Section 171. 04 of the Florida Statutes, 1963, and to that end the City Clerk
is hereby directed to publish this Ordinance in the Clearwater Sun, a newspaper
published in the City of Clearwater, once a week for four consecutive weeks
immediately after the passage of this Ordinance.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage.
