AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER# FLORIDA OF 1962, AS AMENDED,
BY RECLASSIFYING AND ZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY
AS DESCRIBED HEREIN; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT;
PROVIDING PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS
ORDINANCE AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE
DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Senate Bill No. 526, Laws of Florida, Regular Session,
1963, became a law on May 10, 1963, and it amended Section 79 pertaining
to planning and zoning, of the Charter of the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, Chapter 176 of the Florida Statutes, 1961, pertains
to Municipal Zoning; and
WHEREAS, on August 5, 1963, the City Commission of the City of
Clearwater, Florida, enacted Ordinance No. 980 which established the
procedure for amending, supplementing or changing the zoning ordinance
and zoning map of the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, on March 2, 1964, the City Commission of the City
of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing on a
certain proposed change to the zoning map of the City of Clearwater in

accordance with procedure as established; and
WHEREAS, the certain proposed change to the zoning map was
approved by the City Commission after its evaluation of all evidence
presented at the public hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The following described property is hereby classified
and zoned as R-4. Multiple Dwellings, Hotel, etc. and "The Zoning Map
of the City of Clearwater, Florida of 196211, as amended, is hereby amended
to indicate said fact:
Lots 195 thru 206, inclusive, Morningside Estates, Unit
1, as recorded in Plat Book 59, pages 58 and 59 of the
Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida.

association of persons, who shall violate or fail to comply with any of the
terms or provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction in the Municipal
Court be fined not exceeding the
sum of Two Hundred (200.00) Dollars,
or imprisonment in the City Jail for not exceedings sixty (60) days, or by ` , ? "? o? • ? } '

both such fine and imprisonment in the discretion of the Municipal Judge.
Each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a separate •s,;,
offense.
Section 4. The provisions•of this Ordinance shall take effect
immediately upon its passage.
