AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY
OF CLEARWATER TO ANNEX A PORTION OF SECTION 24,
TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 15 EAST, PINELLAS COUNTY,
FLORIDA, TOGETHER WITH ALL ABUTTING STREETS, INTO
THE CORPORATE L-ITVUTS OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, UPON THE EXPIRATION OF THIRTY (30) DAYS
FROM THE PASSING OF THIS ORDINANCE, ACCORDING TO
THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 171.04, FLORIDA STATUTES,
1961, AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF
THIS ORDINANCE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA:
Section 1, The City of Clearwater, Florida, acting by and through its
City Commission, hereby declares its intention to annex into the corporate
limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida, the following described parcel lying
contiguous to the territorial limits of said City and containing less than te? (10)
registered electors:
From the NE corner of the NW-1/4 of Section 24, Township 29
South, Range 15 East, run thence 13 001911511 W, along the North-
South half Section line, 624. 15 feet; thence N 89018'54'1 W, 40. 0
feet for a P. O. B. ; thence continue N 69018054" W, along the South
boundary of the Third Addition to Fair Oaks Subdivision, as recorded
in Plat Book 52, page 36 of the Public Records of Pinellas County,
Florida, 929. 33 feet; thence S 0041'06" W, 165, 0 feet; thence N
89018'54" W, 119.63'feet; thence S 0041106" W, 117. 0 feet; thence
S89 018'54" E, 1073. 12 feet; thence along a curve to the right,
chord bearing N 5043128" W. chord 117.37 feet, arc 117. 57 feet
and radius 586. 38 feet; thence N 8901815411 W. 10. 0 feet; thence
N 0019115' E, 165. 0 feet to the P. O. B.
Section 2. The City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, intends to annex the foregoing land according to the provisions
of Section 171. 04 of the Florida Statutes, 1961, and to that end the City Clerl.
is hereby directed to publish this Ordinance in the Clearwater Sun, a newspaper
published in the City of Clearwater, once a week for four consecutive weeks
immediately after the passage of this Ordinance.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage,
