ORDINANCE NO. 975
AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE
3 CITY OF CLEARWATER TO ANNEX THE PARCELS
HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED, ONE PARCEL OF WHICH
IS A PORTION OF SECTION 19, TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH,
RANGE 16 EAST, PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA, THE
SECOND PARCEL OF WHICH IS LOT 36, SUNSET HIGH-
LANDS, UNIT 2. PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA, THE
THIRD PARCEL OF WHICH IS A PORTION OF SECTION
24, TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 15 EAST, PINELLAS
COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND THE FOURTH PARCEL OF
WHICH IS PART OF L OT 2 MOSEL L. ACRES, PINELLAS
COUNTY. FLORIDA, TOGETHER WIT14 ALL ABUTTING
STREETS, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY
OF' CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, UPON THE EXPIRATION
OF THIRTY (30) DAYS FROM THE PASSING OF THIS
ORDINANCE, ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS OF
SECTION 171, 04, FLORIDA STATUTES, 1961, AND
PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS
ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEAR-
WATER, FL ORIDA:
Section 1, The City of Clearwater, Florida, acting by and through
its City Commission, hereby declares its intention to annex into the corporate
limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida, the following described parcels
lying contiguous to the territorial limits of said City, each parcel containing
less than ten (10) registered electors:
From the SE corner of the NE-1/4 of the SE'-1/4
of Section 19, Township 29 South, Range 16 East,
run N 89oZ412711 W 250. 01 feet; thence N 1026121 it
E 33 feet to the P. O. B. ; thence continue N 10261 P,
E 150 feet; thence N 89a241Z7" W 50. 0 feet; thence
N 1026'211° E 100. 0 feet; thence S 89024'27" E
200, 0 feet; thence N 1026'2 lit E 202. 92 feet; thence
N 89025'37" W 1004, 34 feet; thence S 101315111 W
452. 56 feet; thence S 89024'2711 E 852, 7Z feet; to
the P. O. B. containing; 9.45 acres more or less,
together with all abutting streets,
AND
Lot 36, Sunset Highlands, Unit 2, according to map
or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 41, page 71
of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida,
together with all abutting streets,
AND
South 1/2 of SE-1/4 of NE-1/4 of Section 24, Township
29 South, Range 15 East, together with all abutting
streets.

That part of Lot Z of MOSELL ACRES, according
to map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 24,
page 70, of the Public' Records of Pinellas County,
Florida, described as follows: From the Northwesterly
corner of said Lot run Northeasterly along the Northerly
line of said Lot Z a distance of 100 feet; thence South-
easterly parallel to the Westerly line of said Lot 2, a
distance of 3Z5 feet for P. O. B. ; run thence North-
easterly parallel to the North line of said Lot 2, a
distance of 100 feet to the Easterly boundary of said lot;
thence Southeasterly along the Easterly boundary of
said Lot 2, a distance of 326 feet, more or less, to the
Southeast corner of said lot; thence run Westerly along
the South boundary of said Lot, a distance of 249 feet,
more or less, to the Southwest corner of said lot; thence
run Northwesterly along the Westerly line of said Lot 2,
a distance of 252 feet; thence run Northeasterly parallel
to the North line of said Lot 2, a distance of 100 feet;
thence run Southeasterly parallel to the West line of said
Lot 2, a distance of 75 feet to the P. O. B. , together with
all abutting streets.
Section 2. The City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, intends to annex the foregoing lands according to the provisions
of Section 171, 04, Florida Statutes 1961, and to that end the City Clerk is
hereby directed to publish this Ordinance in the Clearwater Sun, a newspaper
published in the City of Clearwater, once a week for four consecutive weeks
immediately after the passage of this Ordinance.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage.
