ORDINANCE NO. 934
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER., FLORIDA* `
CITING THE AUTHORITIES FOR CHANGING THE FISCAL
YEAR; CHANGING THE FISCAL YEAR. OF THE CITY; PRO-
VIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF AN INTERIM BUDGET;
??.• PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL ORDINANCES OR
PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND
PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER:
Section 1. FINDINGS. The City of Clearwater, Florida, has
authority by and through its City Commission, by Resolution or Ordinance,
to determine, fix, prescribe or establish the fiscal year of the said City,
said authority being given it by Chapter 25730, Laws of Florida, Special
Acts of 1949, and Section 9 of Chapter 26160, Laws of Florida, Special
Acts of 1949.
Section Z. THE FISCAL YEAR. The fiscal year of the City of
Clearwater, Florida, shall begin on the 1st day of October of each year
and end on the 30th day of September following.

Section 2A. INTERIM BUDGET. The City Manager is hereby
directed to prepare an estimate of revenues and expenditures for the
approval of the City Commission to use in adopting an interim budget for the

period of July 1, 1962 to September 30, 1962.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed.

Section 4. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage,
