ORDINANCE NO, 915
AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE PROPERTY HEREINAFTER
DESCRIBED LOCATED IN SECTION 2, TOWNSHIP 29
SOUTH AND XLL R7&GE 15 EAST
STRhETSNEI INTO THENCOkPORATEDA,
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CLW ATER, FLORIDA, AND
REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO
INCLUDE SAID ADDITION ACCORDING TO THE PRO-
VISIONS OF SECTION 171.04, FLORIDA STATUTES
1961; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF
THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
enacted Ordinance No. 906 on October 16, 1961, which Ordinance declared,
the intention of the City to annex the property hereinafter described,
into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance was published once a week for four
consecutive weeks in the Clearwater Sun, a newspaper published in
the City of Clearwater, Florida, proof of which publication is hereto
attached; and
WHEREAS, more than thirty days have expired since the enact-
ment of Ordinance No, 906,and no registered voter of the City of
Clearwater, no owner of real estate in the territory to be annexed,
and no person whomsoever has objected to such annexation or has
applied to the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in and for
Pinellas County; Floridan setting forth any objections to said
annexation; and,
WHEREAS, all of the provisions of Section 171.04, Florida
Statutes, have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA
Sec?ion•l. The City of Clearwater, acting by and through its
City CommYSS on, y the authority and under the provisions of Section
171.04, Florida Statutes, hereby annexes into the corporate limits of
the City of Clearwater, Florida, and redefines the boundary lines of
said City so as to include the following:
From the NE Corner of Section 2, Township 29 South,
Range 15 East, as Point of Beginning run S 0107'05`=
W along the East line of said Section 2, 1320.39 feet
to a 40 Acre corner; thence run N 89°22131" W along
the 40 Acre line, 427.75 feet; thence run N 0037'29" E,
175 feet; thence S 8902213111 E, 16.18 feet; thence
N 0007'05" E, B43.21 feet; thence run N 89°15'23" W,
8.92 feet; thence N 0°44'37" E 160 feet; thence N
89015'2311 W, 25,00 feet; thence N 0044137" E, 143
feet; thence run S 89°15123" E along the North line
of said Section 2, 440.64 feet to P.O.B. and all abutting
streets.
The above described property is hereby zoned R-1
(Single-family) and designated as Fire District No. 2.

to include and set out and show upon the official zoning map and other
official maps of the City of Clearwater, the foregoing property.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage.
