AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY
OF CLEARWATER TO ANNEX THE PROPERTY HEREIN-
AFTER DESCRIBED, A PORTION OF WHICH IS LOCATED
IN SECTION 11, TOWNSHIP 29 SOUTH, RANGE 15 EAST,
PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA, THE SECOND PORTION
OF 'VrHICH IS LOCATED IN SECTION 19, TOWNSHIP 29
SOUTH, RANGE 16 EAST, PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA,
AND THE REMAINDER OF WHICH IS LOCATED IN THE
SOUTH ONE;-HALF OF THE NORTHEAST QUARTER OF
THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 11, TOWNSHIP
29 SOUTH, RANGE 15 EAST, AND ALL ABUTTING
STREETS, EASEMENTS AND RIGHTS OF WAY, INTO
THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, UPON THE EXPIRATION OF THIRTY (30)
DAYS FROM THE PASSING OF THIS ORDINANCE,
ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 171.04
FLORIDA STATUTES, 1961, AND PROVIDING FOR THE
EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEAR-
WATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City of Clearwater, Florida, acting by and through
its City Commission, hereby declares its intention to annex into the corporate
limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida, the following described parcels
lying contiguous to the territorial limits of said City, each parcel containing
less than ten (10) registered electors:
That part of the South 112 of the Northeast 1 /4
of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 11, Township 29
South, Range 15 East, lying West of the S. A. L.
Railroad, described as follows: From the South-
west corner of the Northeast 114 of the Northwest
1/4 of said Section 11, run North 001310911 East
along the 40-acre line, 330. 52 feet for P. O. B. ;
thence continue North 0013109" East along said
40-acre line 159 feet; thence South 89022' 2811 East,
190 feet; thence South 0013'09" Writ, 45 feet; thence
North 89°Z2'28" 11%rest, 40 feet; thence South 0013`09"
West, 114 feet; thence North $9022'28" West, 150
feet to P. O. B, together with all abutting streets,
less and except that portion thereof presently
within the corporate limits of the City of Clear-
water, Florida,

From a point of beginning at the NW corner of

run North 89045' 1111 East along the North line of
said Section 19, 200 feet; thence run South
0001141" East a distance of 1002, 345 feet; thence
North 89045' 1l" Vilest 200 feet to a point on the
West line of said Section 19 (said point being the
NE corner of the S-112 of the S-i/2 of the NE-1/4
of the NE-1/4 of Section Z4, Township 25 South,
Range 16 East); thence North 0001141" West, along
the Weot line of said Section 19, 1002. 345 feet to
the P. O. B. ; containing 4. 60 acres, toge Uo

beginning; thence continuing North 0013109" East
along the forty acre line 176 feet; thence South
89022'28" East, 1ci0 feet; thence South 0013'09"

t 190 feet to the point of beginning, together with
all abutting streets, less and except that portion
thereof presently within the corporate limits of
the City of Clearwater, Florida.
Section 2. The City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commiesio:1, intends to annex the foregoing parcels according to the pro-
visions of Section 171. 04, Florida Statutes, 1961, and to that end the City
Clerk is hereby directed to publish this Ordinance in the Clearwater Sun,
a newspaper published in the City of Clearwater, once a week for four
consecutive weeks immediately after the passage of this Ordinance.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage.
