WHEREAS the City Commission of the City of Clearwater Florida
enacted Ordinance No. 892 on .;anuary 16, 1961, which Ordinance declared
the intention of the City to annex the property hereinafter described, into the
{`•_;????{, corporate limits of the City of Clearwater; and

WHEREAS said Ordinance was published once a week for four consecutive
weeks in the Clearwater Sun, a newspaper published in the City of Clearwater,
Florida, proof of which publication is hereto attached; and
WHEREAS, more than thirty days have expired since the enactment
of Ordinance No. 892, and no registered voter of the City of Clearwater,
no owner of real estate in the territory to be annexed, and no person whom-
soever has objected to such annexation or has applied to the Circuit Court of
the Sixth Judicial Circuit in and for Pinellas County, Florida, setting forth
any objections to said annexation; and
WHEREAS, all of the provisions of Section 171. 04, Florida Statutes,
have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 171, 04,
Florida Statutes, hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater, Florida, and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to
include the following:
Being a part of the SE-1/4 of the NE-114 of Section
9, Township 29 South, Range 16 East, and a part of
. ' the SW-1/4 of the NW-1/4 of Section 10, Township 29
South, Range 16 East, further described as follows:
Begin at the NE corner of the SE-1/4 of the NE-1/4 of
Section 9, Township 29 South, Range 16 East, as a P. O. B.
and run along the east-west 40 acre line S 89017'59'- E,
167. 90 feet; thence S 5900311401 E, 122. 49 feet to the center-
line of County Road 30, also known as Bayshore Boulevard;
thence along the centerline of County Road 30 S 3005614611
' W, 51. 56 feet; thence continuing along same said centerline
