Section 1. That a special municipal election shall be held
in the manner herein provided., on Tuesday, December 20, 1960, for the
purpose of determining whether or not Ordinance No. 882, • an ordinance z ,?•;
amending Ordinance No. 627, as amended, the City Zoning Ordinance,
shall be adopted.
Section 2, At said special municipal election, Ordinance
No. 882 shall be submitted to a vote and voted upon and shall be ac-
cepted or rejected as a whole. ' rah.
Section 3. Only qualified electors of the City of Clear- :,
water, Florida, who are freeholders within said City shall be eligible`
to vote in said special election.]
Section 4. All persons shall be considered as qualified

freeholders in the City who shall be registered as such according to ?.? ? •: ,?,.??
law, as evidenced by the records of the Supervisor of Registration of

Pinellas County, Florida.
Section . The City Commission shall cause to be published r ?'r

in a newspaper of general circulation in the City once a week for two
(2) consecutive weeks a notice stating the purpose of the election, A

polling places, and the class of persons eligible to vote there-

the first publication to be at least ten (10) days before the

Section 6. Votes in such election shall be cast at each of
the polls established and maintained by the City in connection with
the regular election to be conducted by the City on said date.

manner and by the same officials as are the results in the general

a'F the City Commission shall canvass the returns and declare the returns ryv,f ,
of said special election in the same manner and at the same time and
place as the results of the general election are canvassed.
Section 9. IL11 things done and accomplished in compliance
with this Ordinance and in furtherance of the purposes of this Ordi-
nance, prior to the effective date hereof are hereby ratified and
confirmed as being in compliance with this Ordinance.,

Section 10. This Ordinance shall become effective imme-
diately upon its passage.
