AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE PROPERTY HEREINAFTER
DESCRIBED WHICH IS TO BE KNOWN AS BROOKHILL
UNIT45 AND ALL ABUTTING STREETS INTO THE COR-
PORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY-OF CLEARWATER FLORIDA,
AND REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THt CITY TO
"" INCLUDE SAID ADDITION, ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS
OF SECTION 171.04, FLORIDA STATUTES 1959; ZONING
THE ANNEXED PROPERTY AS HEREIN PROVIDED; AND PRO-
VIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the-City of Clearwater,
Florida, enacted Ordinance No. 871 on August 15, 1960, which Ordinance
declared the intention of the City to annex the property hereinafter
described, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, said Ordinance was published once a week for four
consecutive weeks in the Clearwater Sun, a newspaper published in the
City of Clearwater, Florida, proof of which publication is hereto at-
tached; and,
WHEREAS, more than thirty days have expired since the en-
actment of-Ordinance No.871, and no registered voter of the City of
Clearwater,no owner of real estate in the territory to be annexed, and
no person whomsoever has objected to such annexation or has applied to
the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in and for Pinellas
County, Florida, setting forth any objections to said annexation; and,
WHEREAS, all of the provisions of Section 171.04, Florida
Statutes, have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA
Section-1. The City of Clearwater, acting by and through
its City Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Sec-
tion 171.04, Florida Statutes, hereby annexes into the corporate limits
of the City of Clearwater, Florida, and redefines the boundary lines of
said City so as to include the following:

Lots 18 and 19 of Highland Oak, according to the
map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 40,
Page 25; of the Public Records of Pinellas County,
Florida, together with the vacated street right-
of-way lying Westerly of each of the said lots to
the west boundary of Section 23, Township 29 South,
Range 15 East, and together with adjacent right-of-
way of Satsuma Street.
From the NE corner of the SE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of
Section 22, Township 29 S, Range 15 E. as a point
of beginning, run south 89159133" east along a 40
acre line 30.00 feet; thence run south 0°14'16"
west parallel to the east line of the northeast
1/4 of said Section 22, 85.12 feet; thence run
southwesterly along a curve to the right of 275
feet radius (chord bearing south 13044134" west,
chord distance 128.44 feet) 129.64 feet; thence
run north 0014116" east along the section line
209.87 feet to point of beginning.
Said property is zoned R-1, Residential. Fire Dis-
trict No. 2.
