AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER
TO ANNEX THE PROPERTIES IN SECTIONS 2. 11 AND 10, TOWNSHIP 295,
RANGE 15E, AND LOT 13 SUNSET HIGHLANDS, UNIT 2, AND LOTS 17 A11D
l8, BLOCK D AND LOTS 1,2,3 AND 4, BLOCK E PINE RIDGE SUBDIVISION
AND CERTAIN APPURTENANT STREETS, HEREIN DkSCRIBED, INTO THE CORP-
ORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA UPON THE EXPIRA-
TION OF THIRTY (30) DAYS FROM THE PASSING OF THfS ORDINANCE, ACCOR-
DING TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 171.04, FLORIDA STATUTES, 1957"
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
HE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City of Clearwater, Florida, acting by and through
its City Commission, hereby declares its intention to annex '.--to the cor-
porate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida, the following described
lands lying contiguous to the territorial limits of said City, which lands
contain less than ten (10) registered voters:
Lot Thirteen (13) together with all abutting streets, Sunset
Highlands, Unit #2, as recorded in Plat Book 41, Pages 71
and 72 of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida.
Lots 17 and 18 of Block D and Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 of Block E,
Pine Ridge Subdivision, together with all abutting streets, as
recorded in Plat Book 28, Page 98, of the Public Records of
Pinellas County, Florida.
From the Northwest corner of the Northeast * of Section 111
Township 29 S, Range 15 E., run South 89°23'46" E., along the
Section line, 527.62 ft., for Point of Beginning, thence North
0025121" E 253,29 ft., thence North 86033157" E 801.60 ft.,
thence South 0007135" E 20.03 ft., thence North 86°33'57" E.
544.23 ft., thence S 0025121" W 503.76 ft.,.thence North 89°21'30"
W 1343.0 ft., thence North 0125121" E 167.92 ft. to Point of
Beginning, less that portion of the Nz of Section 11, Twp 29S,
Rge 15 E, this already being within the city limits.
TRACT 1
A parcel of land in the North half of the South half of the East
half of the Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter of Section
2, Twp. 29 S., Rge. 15 E, Pinellas County, Florida, described as
follows: From the Southeast corner of the Southwest quarter of
Southwest quarter of Sect. 2, Twp. 29 S., Rge 15 E, run thence
North 0°07141" W, along the East boundary of the South half of
the East half of the Southwest quarter of the Southwest quarter
of said Sect. 2, a distance of 331.37 ft. for P.O.B. (which is NE
corner of Grove Circle Subdivision); run thence North 89°22'52" W.,
distance c': 200.0 ft.; run thence North 0007141" 1,11 a distance of
75.0 ft.; run thence South 89122'52" E, 200.0 ft,; run thence South
0007'41" E, a distance of 75.0 ft. to P.O.B., together with abutting
streets.
TRACT 2
From the, SE corner of the SW-41- of the SIV of Sect. 2, Twp 29,
Rge 15 E, run N 0°07'41" W, along the East boundary of the south
of the East i of the S-1 + of the 1314 -k of said Sect. 2, a distance
.of-406.37 ft. for P.O:B.; thence continue tI 0007'41" W, 12.0 ft.
thence N. 89°22'52" W, 200.0 ft., thence S 0°07141" E, 12.0 ft.;
thence S 89022152" E, 200.0 ft. to P.O.B.; together with abutting
streets.
Section 2. 'The City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, intends to annex the foregoing lands according to the provis-
ions of Section 171.04, Florida Statutes 1957, and to that end the City
Clerk is hereby directed to publish this Ordinance in the Clearwater Sun,
a newspaper published in the City of Clearwater, once a week for four
consecutive weeks immediately after the passage of this Ordinance.
