AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER FLORIDA,
AMENDING SECTION 3, CHAPTER 10, OF THE CODE OF
THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, 1950, TO PROVIDE FOR
THE ADOPTION BY REFERENCE OF THE FIRE PREVENTION
CODE, EDITION OF 1956, TOGETHER. WITH MfiENDMENTS
THERETO, REPEALING ALL ORDINAMCES IN CODIFLICT,
HEREWITH AND PROVIDIAIG FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE
HEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CO1V%1I3SION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. Section 3, Chanter 10 of the Code of the
City of Clearwater,' 1950, is amended to read as follows:
"Section 3. ADOPTION OF FIRE PREVENTION CODE.
"The Fire Prevention Code, Edition of 1956, and any
amendments thereto,'as recommended by the National
Board of Fare [Underwriters, is hereby adopted by re-
ference and made as much a part of this Code as if
every word, sentence, section and part was set out
herein. At least three copies of said Fire Preven-
tion Code shall be filed with the City Clerk and by
him made available to the general public for inspect-
ion and examination upon request."
Section 2_ All "ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective upon
its passage, as provided by law.
