AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING LOTS' 5, 6, 7; 8 AND 9 OF
BLOCK E, AND LOTS $, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 AND 14.
OF BLOCK D. TOGETHER WIT. T11-,T PORTION OF OVER-
LEA STREET LYING BETWEEN SAID PORTIONS OF BLOCKS
D AND E OF SAID SUBDIVISION, ALL IN PINE RIDGE
SUBDIVISION, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWA'T'ER, FLORIDA, AND REDEFINING THE
BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CI'T'Y TO INCLUDE SAID ADDI-
TION ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 171.04,
FLORIDA STATUTES 1957; ZONING THE ANNEXED PROPERTY
AS HEREIN PROVIDED; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE
DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater. Florida, enact-
ed''Ordinance No. 776 on June 16, 195$, which ordinance declared the intention
of` the City to annex Loto 5, 6, 7, $ and 9 of Block E, and Lots $, 9, 10, 11,
120 13 and 14 of Block D. together with that portion of Overlea Street lying
between said portions of Blocks D and E of said Subdivision, all in Pitie Ridge
Subdivision, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater: and,
WHEREAS, said Ordinance was published once a week for four consecutive
weeks in the Clearwater Sun, a newspaper published in the City of Clearwater,
Florida, proof of which publication is hereto attached; and,
WHEREAS, more than thirty days have expired since the enactment of
Ordinance No.' 776, and no registered voter of the City of Clearwater, no ovmer
of real estate in the territory to be annexed, and no person whomsoever has
objected to such annexation or has applied to the Circuit Court of the Sixth
Judicial Circuit in and for Pinellas County, Florida, setting forth any ob-
jections to said annexation; and,
WHEREAS, all of the provisions of Section 171.01, Florida Statutes,
have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE,'BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City Com-
mission,' by the authority and under the provisions of Section 171.01, Florida
Statutes, hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida, and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the
following:
Being Lots 5, 6, 7, $ and 9 of Block E. and Lots 8, 9, 10, 11,
12, 13 and 14 of Block D of Pine Ridge Subdivision, together
with that portion of Overlea Street lying between said portions
of Blocks D and E of said Subdivision, according to man or plat
thereof recorded in Plat• Book. 2$, page 9$, Public Records of
Pinellas County, Florida, this property to be known as Pine Ridge
Subdivision.
Said property is hereby zoned as follows: Lots $, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13
Block D, and Lots 8 and 9, Block E shall be zoned "B" - Business. Lot 14, Bloc
D and Lots 5, 6 and 7, Block E shall be zoned 1JR-11i Residential. The City
Engineer and the City Clerk are directed to include in and set out and show
upon the official, zoning map and other official maps of the City of Clearwater,
the'foregoing property with its zoning as indicated.
