AN ORDINANCE' ANNEXING PROPERTY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED,
TO BE KNn1,11N AS PARKWOOD SUBDIVISION, FIRST ADDITION,
INTO THE CORP6aATE LIMITS Or THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, A14D REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE
CITY TO, INCLUDI' SAID ADDITION ACCORDING TO THE PRO-
VISIONS OF SECTION 171.01•, FLORIDA STATUTES 1957'
„-- -w - ZONING SAID ANNEXED PROPERTY R-2, DUPLEX RESIDENTIAL,
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater,. Florida, en-
acted Ordinance No. 770 on May 5, 1958, which ordinance declared the inten-
tion of the City to annex Parkwood Subdivision, First Addiction, into the
corporate limits of the City of Clearwater! and,
MEREAS, said Ordinance was published once a week for four consecu--
tivc weeks in the Clearwater.Sun, a newspaper published in the City of
Clearwater, Florida, proof of which publication is hereto attached,* and,
WHEREAS, more than thirty days have expired since the enactment of
Ordinance No. 770, and no registered voter of the City of Clearwater, no
owner of real estate in the territory to be annexed, and no person whom-
soever has objected to such annexation or has applied to the Circuit Court
of the 2ixth Judicial. Circuit in and for Pinellas County. Florida, setting
forth any objections to said'annexation- and,
WHEREAS, all of the provisions of Section 171.04, Florida Statutes,
have been complied with.
NOW, THER.EFO;tE DE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY 001411ISSION OF THE CITY
OF CLEPUITVATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City-
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 171.04,
Florida Statutes, hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater, Floridq, and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as
to include the following,

E. 579.0 ft. to POB. To be knosm as Parkwood Subdivision, First
Addition, and to be recorded among the Public R€:cords of Pinellas
County, Florida,
• Said property is hereby Zoned R-2, Duplex Residential, and the City
Engineer and the City Clork are directed to include in and set out and show
upon the official zoning map and other official maps of the City of Clear-
' water, the foregoing property with its zoning as indicated.
Sect on This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon its
passage.
