AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING ACREAGE TO BE KNOWN AS HOLLINS
SUBDIVISION INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY Or,
`CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY LINES
OF THE CITY TO INCLUDE SAID ADDITION ACCORDING TO THE
PROVISIONS OF SECTION 171.04, FLORIDA STATUTES- ZON-
ING THE- ANNEXED PROPERTY R-l RESIDENTIAL; AND PROVID-
ING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City-of Clearwater, Florida,
enacted Ordinance No. 758 on January 13, 195$, which Ordinance declared
the intention of said City to arinex Rollins Subdivision into the corpo-
rate limits of the City of Clearwater; and,
WHEREAS, said Ordinance was-published once a week for four consecu-
tive weeks-in the Clearwater Sun, a newspaper published in the Clay of
Clearwater, Florida, proof of which publication is hereto attached; and,
WHEREAS; more than thirty days have expired since theme-atment of
Ordinance No. 758, and no registered voter of the City of Clearwatdr, no
owner of real estate in the territory to be annexed, and no person whom-
soever has objected to such annexation or has applied to-the Circuit Court
of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in and for Pinellas-County, Florida, set-
ting forth any objections to said annexation; and,
WHEREAS, all of the provisions of Section 171.04, Florida Statutes,
have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CONII?ISION OF THE CITY
OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 171.04
Florida Statutes, hereby annexes into'tho corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater, Florida, and re'-defines the boundary lines of said City so as
to include the following:
Begin at'the NW corner of the NE Suarter of Sec. 23, Twp.
29S, Rge. 15E and run thence S. 0 211'3911•East along the
North and South centerline of said Sec, 23, 663:54 feet,
thence S•880 579 45"•East, 326:0 feet, thence S.•Oo 211
39" East, 266.0 feet, thence-S• 880 57t 45" East, 196,0
feet; thence N. Oo 211 40" W 929.84 feet to the Section
line, thence North 880 591•44ti east, along the Section
line 522.0 feet to the POB. Recorded in Plat Book 43;
Page 47, Official Records of Pinellas Count-,y, Florida.
Said property is hereby zoned R-1, Residential., and the City Engineer
and the City Clerk are directed to include in and set out and show upon the
official zoning map and other official maps of the City of Clearwater, the
foregoing property with its zoning as indicated.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage.
