Florida, 1950, as amended by Ordinance 631 is amended to read as follows:
Section 61. Space heating - rates and "Turn On" charges.
(a) Rates for all gas sold by the municipal gas department ?

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY MVISSION OF THE CITY OF
CLEAR,WATEA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Section 59 of the Code of the City of
Clearwater, Florida, 1950, is amended to read as follows:
"Section 59 Gas Rates -- Domestic.
Hates to be charged •for all gas sold by the municipal
gas department of the City for all purposes except space

(a) For domestic purposes (stares, offices or residen-
tial service), etc.

(c) A charge of °1.00 shall, be collected to reestablish the
above service if said account has already been in service
during the current season,
(d) 'A charge of 1,1,00 shall be collected from each customer
using gas for space heating only with a floor furnace or a
central heating plant, if the.heating equipment is turned
on and serviced by a plumber or applicance dealer, provid-
ing said "turn on" is reported to the Utility Department of,
the City within 48 hours after said equipment has been turned
on-4
(o) d charge of •A1.00 shall be collected from each customer
using gas for space heating with any type of heating equip-
ment other than a floor furnace or central heating plant."

Section 3. Rates as'above set out'for domestic and apace
heating purposes are fixed -on the basis of gas being furnished having a British
Thermal Unit index of 525. Wben the British Thermal Unit index of gas furnish-
ed is increased or decreased from 525 the rate to be charged shall be propor-
tionately changed.
Section 1,.. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are repealed to the extent of such conflict, I
Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage.
