AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY
OF CLEARWATER TO ANNEX THE PAOPEdTY HEAEINAFTE,i
DESCRIBED, WHICH IS INCLUDED IN THE SUBDIVISION
KNOWN AS EAST DRUID ESTATES ADDITION, INTO THE
CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CLEAAJATEA, FL04DA,
UPON THE EXPIAATION OF THIRTY (30) DAYS F,iOM THE
PASSING OF THIS ORDINANCE, ACCORDING TO THE PAOVIS-
IONS OF SECTION 171.04, FLORIDA STATUTES 1955; AND
PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARVIATEd, FLORIDA
Section 1. The City of Clearwater, Florida, actin; by and through
its City U0mmission, hereby declares its intention to annex into the cor-
porate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida, the following described
lands lying contiguous to the territorial limits of said City, which lands
contain less than ten (10) registered voters:
From the N.J. corner of the SE 1/4-of Section 13, Twp.
29S, mange 15E; run S 00 394 551' E, along the North
and South center line of said Section 13: 1329.43 feet
to the 1?0 acre line; run thence S 890 134 51" E, along
the 40 acre line, 31.0 feet and run S 00 404 15" T11)
680.0 feet for P.O.B., also being a paint on the City
Limit line; run thence S 890 134 51" E along the City
limit line 663:22 feet; run thence S 00 291 47" "1.,
650.77 feet; to the South Section line of said Section
13; run thence N. 890 041 5211 W., along said South
Section line, 665.21 feet to the North and South center
line of said Section 13, run thence N 00 404 15" East,
649.0 feet to the P.O.B.
Section 2. The City of Clearwater, acting by and through its
City Commission, intends to annex the foregoing lands according to the
provisions of Section 171.04, Florida Statutes 1955, and to that end the
City Clerk is hereby directed to publish this Ordinance in the Clearwater
Sun, a newspaper published in the City of Clearwater, once a week for four
(4) consecutive weeks immediately after tlu passage of this ordinance.
Section . This Ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage.

Before me, the undersigned authority, personally appeared John
F. Sever, who upon being by me duly sworn, deposes and says:
. 1. That he is the developer and representative of the
owner of. what is to be known as East Druid Estates, t'hat
he has personal knowledge as to the occupancy of the land em-
braced in said acreage and that said tract of land to be annexed
into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater contains less
then ten (10) registered voters.
2. That this Affidavit is made in compliance with Section
171.04 of. Florida Statutes, 1951, and is made to induce the City
of Clearwater to annex the foregoing acreage into the corporate
limits.
