THIS ORDINANCE; -ACCORDING .TO THE PROVISIONS OF
SECTION-171.049 FLORIDA STATUTES 1955:.-AND',PRO-
VIDING FOR THE EtiFFCTIVE,DATE,OF THIS-ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLFARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City of Clearwater, Florida, acting by and
through its City Commission, hereby declares its intention to annex
into the corporate li.tnits of the City of Clearwater, Florida the
following described lands lying contiguous to the territorial, limits
of said City, which lands contain less than ten (10) registered
voters:
From the North West corner of-the South East 1/ 4 of
Section 131 Township 29 South, Range 15 East run
South 0 degrees 391 55" East along the North and
South center-line of said Section 13, 1329.43 feet
?o the 40 acre line for P.O.B., thence South 89 de-
grees 132 5111 East, along the 40 acre line 31.0
feet; thence,South 0 degrees 401 39tt West 494.89
feet, thence North 89 degrees 20! 41!!. West 367.04
feet, thence North 0 degrees 061 _13n.;W'est 495.0
feet to the 40 acre line, thence South 89 degrees
201 41!! East, along the 40 acre line, 342.79 feet
to,.P.O.a., less the North 330.0 feet of above des-
cribed parcel now in the City of Clearwater.
Section 2. The City of Clearwater, acting by and through
its City Commission,intends to annex the foregoing lands accord-
ing to the provisions of Section 171 04, Florida Statutes 1955,
and to that end the City Auditorand Clerk-is-hereby directedto
publish this Ordinance in the Clearwater Sun, a newspaper published
in the City of Clearwater once a week for four (4) consecutive
weeks immediately after Ue passage of this Ordinance.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective immediate-
ly upon.-its passage.

peared Oscar W. Allen, who upon being by me duly sworn, de-
poses and says:
1. That he is Owner of acreagre in what is to be
Druid Manor Subdivision, and that he has personal knowledge
as to the occupancy of the land embraced in said acreage
and that said tract of land to be annexed into the corporate'
limits of the City of Clearwater contains less than ten (10)
registered voters,

Section 171.04 Florida Statutes, 1951, and is made to induce
the City of Clearwater to annex the foregoing acreage into
its corporate limits.
