AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWATER TO ANNEX A PORTION OF ACUEAGE 4=11=
A2X=L1X1JDX1MXXXVREZ; TO BE USED FOR STREET RIGHT-
OF-WAY PURPOSES, INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE ,
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA. UPON THE EXPIRATION OF
THIRTY (30) DAYS FROM THE PASSING.OF THIS ORDINANCE
ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION,171.04, FLORIDA
STATUTES 1955; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE
OF THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,.FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City of Clearwater, Florida, acting by and
through its City Commission, hereby declares its intention to annex
into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida, the
following described land lying contiguous to the territorial limits
of said City, which land contains less than ten (10) registered
voters:
Being the North 30 fdet of the South 360 feet of the
East 840 feet of the Southwest Quarter (SW 1/4) of
the Northeast Quarter (NE 1/4) of Section 18, Town-
ship 29 S., Range 16 E.
Said property having been deeded to the City for street
right-of-way purposes.
Section 2. The City of Clearwater, acting by and through
its City Commission, intends to annex the foregoing land accord-
ing to the provisions of Section 171.04, F1ori.rh Statutes, 1955, and
to that end the City Auditor and Clerk is hereby directed to pup-
lish this Ordinance in the Clearwater Sun, a newspaper published in
the City of Clearwater, once a week for four (4) consecutive weeks
immediately after the passage of this Ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective immed-
iately upon its passage.
