FLORIDA S'T'ATUTES, 1955; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE
DA'T'E OF THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY 001,12:SSION OF THE CI'T'Y OF CLMMATM,
FLOitIDA:
Section 1. The City of Clearwater, Florida, acting by and
through its City Commission, hereby declares its intention to annex
into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida, the
following described lands lying contiguous to the territorial limits'
of said City, which lands contain less than ten (10) registered voters:
From the Northwest corner of the SOUTHEAST QUAaTEH
(SE4) of Section 13, Tovmship 29 South, Range 15 East;
run-South 0 deg. 391 5511 East along the North and South
Center Line of said Section 13, a distance of 1329.43 feet
to the 40 acre line; thence South 89 deg. 131 5111 East,
along the 40 acre line 31.0 feet for P.O.B.; thence South
89 deg. 13t x111 East, along the 40 acre line 451.14 feet;
thence South 0 deg. 29v 4711 West 260.0 feet; thence South
89 deg. 131 5111 East 210.0 feet; thence South 0 deg. 291
4711 Ifest 420.0 feet; thence Worth 89 deg. 13t 5111 Vest
663.22 feet; thence North 0 deg. 40t 1511 Ea- t 630.0 feet
to P.Q.B.; less the North 330.0 feet now lying within
the City of Clearwater city limits.
Said properties constituting a portion of lards which
the owners have indicated are to be platted, and known
as East Druid Estates.
Section 2. The City of Clearwater, acting by and through its
City Commission intend, to annex the foregoing lands according to the
provisions of Section 171.04, Florida Statutes, 1955, and to that end,
the City Auditor and Clerk is hereby directed to publish this Ordinance
in the Clearwater Sun a newspaper published in the City of Clearwater,
once a week for four W consecutive weeks iiriediately after the passage
of this Ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become affective immediately
upon,its passage.
