AN ORDINANCE DECLARING THE INTENTION OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWA'TER TO ANNEX ACREAGE IN WHAT IS TO BE KNOWN AS
DRUID ACRES SECOND ADDITION INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS
OF' THE CITY OF CLEARWATER FLORIDA UPON THE EXPIitA'TION
' OF THIRTY (30) DAYS FROM '?'IIE PASSAGE OF THIS ORDINANCE
ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION 171.04 FLORIDA
STATUTES 1955; AND PROVIDING FOR THE, EFFECTI?E DATE ,

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA:
r Section 1. The City of Clearwater, Florida, acting by and
i through its City Commission,hercbyy declares its intention to annex
into the corporate limits of the ?%ity of Clearwater, Florida the
following described lands lying contiguous to the territorial limits
of said City, which lands contain less than ten (10) registered
voters: f'
From the Northwest corner of the SOUTHWEST QUARTER
(SAO of Section 13, Township 29 South Range 15 East,
run South 0 deg, 04! 58« West, along tie Section line
1326.34 feet to the 40 acre line thence South 89 deg.

Point of Beginning; thence South $9 deg. 201 1411 East
along the 40 acre line 1031.39 feet; thence South
0 deg. 06, 1311 East, 64.04 feet to the 10 acre line

lying within the Clearwater City Limits.
Section'2. The City of Clearwater, acting by and through its
City Commission intends to annex the foregoing-lands according to the
?:.., ? . provisions of Suction 171.04, Florida Statutes, 1955, and t?o that
end, the City Auditor and Clerk-is hereby directed to publish this
F Ordinance in the Clearwater Sun, a newspaper published inthe City of
Clearwater, once' a week for four (4) consecutive weeks immediately
after passage of this ordinance.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately

proposes to annex into the coraorate limits of the said City of
Clearwater contains less than ten (10) registered voters.
2. That this affidavit is made in compliance with
Section 171.01, Florida Statutes, and is made to induce the City
of Clearwater to annex the foregoing tract into its corporate
limits.
