AN ORDINANCE AS AMENDED PROHIBITING THE SELLING OR PEDDLING
OF GOODS WARES OR MERCHANDISE FROM VEHICLES OF EVERY NATURE
INCLUDIN& BUT NOT LIMITED TO TRUCKS VANS MOTOR HOOTERS,
`. WAGONS AND PUSH CARTS WHETHER THE SAME BE SELF'-PROPELLED OR
DRIVEN BY MOTOR DRAB BY ANIMALS OR PROPELLED BY HUMAN
PROPULSION UPOA THE STREETS PARkING AREAS AND PUBLIC AREAS
WITHIN CER?i'AIN SPECIFICALLY' SET OUT PORTIONS OF THE CITY OF
CLEARWA`!'ER) FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY FOR VIOLATION

NANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT;
AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
`:'..:. WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
F finds that the selling or peddling of goods, wares, or merchandise from
vehicles as hereinafter defined, within certain areas in the. City of
Clearwater, Florida, would constitute a serious traffic hazard, and would
be dangerous to persons and property of inhabitants, and would amount to
an improper. conversion and use of certain public areas, and it is con- ': ' °°•.:;,
trary to the health, safety and general welfare of the inhabitants of
the-City of Clearwater, Florida.

CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, in session duly and regularly assembled as

from.vehicles of ever nature including but not limited 'to trucks, vans, ti? =
motor sboaters, wagons and push carts, whether the same be self-propelled
or driven by motor, drawn by animals, or propelled by human propulsion,
is hereby prohibited upon the streets, in parking areas, and in public
areas within the following described portions of and upon and adjacent

across Causeway Boulevard and continuing southerly
along the East side of Coronado Drive and Hamden
Drive to the Juncture of Hamden Drive and Gulfview
Boulevard on the East, a line running due West from
the southeast corner of the Juncture of Hamden Drive
and 6ulfview Boulevard on the South and the waters
of the Gulf of Mexico on the West.

Section 2. This ordinance shall not be construvrd so as
to prevent or in any manner affect sale or distribution of goods,
wares and merchandise at wholesale from vehicles to merchants and
customers on their own premises.
Section 3• It shall be unlawful for any person, firm,
associatibn.or corporation to violate any provision of this ordi-
nance, and upon conviction thereof in the Municipal Court, such
persons shall be punished by a fine not exceeding Five Hundred
Dollars or imprisonment for a term not exceeding sixty days, or by
both such fine and imprisonment, Each day any violation of any pro-
vision of this ordinance shall continue shall constitute a separate
offense.
Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon its passage.
