FLORIDA STA'T'UTES; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of,Clearwater, Florida
enacted Ordinance No. 673 on January 17, 1955, which ordinance de-
clared the intention of the said City to annex Second Addition to
Betty Lane Heights Subdivision into the corporate limits of the
City of Clearwater, and
WHERE-AS, said Ordinance was published once a. week for-four
consecutive weeks in the Clearwater Sun, a newspaper published in
the City of Clearwater, Florida, proof of which publication.is hereto
attached, and
WHEREAS, more than thirty days has expired since the enactment
of Ordinance No. 673, and no registered voter of the City of Clear-
water, no owner of real estate in the territory to be annexed, and
no person whomsoever, has objected to such annexation or has applied,
to the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit in and for Pinellas
County, Florida, setting forth any-objection to said annexation, and
WHEREAS, all of the provisions of Section 171.04, Florida
Statutes, have been complied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COTMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER$ FLORIDA:
1. Section 1. The City of Clearwater, acting by and through
its City Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of
Section 171,04, Florida Statutes, hereby annexes into the corporate;
Limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida, and redefines the boundary
lines of the said City so as to include therein the following:

SECOND ADDITION TO BETTY LANE HEIGHTS SUBDIVISION
according to the map or plat thereof as recorded
in plat book 36, page 31 of the public records of
Pinellas County, Florida, more particularly described
as:. Being'a subdivision of the South 858 feet of the
Southeast Quarter (SEA) of the Southeast Quarter (SEA)'
'of Section 3, Township 29 South, Range 15 Ea6t, less
that part in "Betty Lane Heights" as recorde'q in plat
book 30; page 9$, Pinellas County, Florida, ounty
Records; also less the East 165.37 feet-of the.North
143 feet of said South 858 feet, the same also inclu-
ding and being a replat of "First Addition to Betty
Lane Heights Subd,,vision" as recorded in plat book 33,
-page 8, Pinellas County, Florida, County Recordo, and
all being in Section 3, Township 29 South, Range'15 East,
