RAW MATERIAL USED IN THE MANUFACTURE OF
ILLICIT AND ILLEGAL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR
OF ANY ILLICIT AND ILLEGAL ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES
OR LIQUORS, AND PROVIDING FOR THE FORFEITURE
THEREOF-UNDER THE GENERAL STATE LAW; AND PRO-
VIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. Any vehicle, vessel, aircraft or any animal
used in the transportation or removal of, or for the deposit or
concealment of any illicit liquor still or stilling apparatus or
any mash, wart, wash, or other fermented liquids capable of being
distilled or manufactured into an alcoholic beverage containing
more than 1% of alcohol by weight, or any alcoholic beverage,
commonly knorm and referred to as 'moonshine whiskey", where
seized by a municipal police officer within the corporate limits
of the City of Clearwater, shall be forfeited, as provided for
by the general State law7 and all sums received therefrom shall
go into the general operating fund of the City.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon its passage.
