AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 627 THE CITY
ZONING ORDINANCE BY PROVIDING FOR THE 9PEAL OF ALL
PROVISIONS REGARDING SIGNS• PROVIDING FOR THE ZONING
OF AREAS LATER INCORPORATED INTO THE CITY• PROVIDING
FOR THE REPEAL OF THE ZONING MAP OF THE C?'T'Y OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, 1952, AND THE ADOP'T'ION OF THE
: ZONING MAP OF 1953 OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA;
PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERE-
WITH; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS
ORDI'?IANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COI,'u'N'I:ISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Ordinance No, 627, the Zoning Ordinance of the
City of Clearwater, Florida, be and it is hereby amended by striking
therefrom SECTION II--A the following paragraphs: Paragraph beginning
with the words "Commercial Advertising Signs"; Paragraph beginning
iti.th the word: "Owner Identification Sign"; Paragraph beginning with'
the words "Point of Purchase Signs"; Paragraph beginning with the
words "Real Estate Sign"; Paragraph beginning with the words "Snipe
..` Sign", and Paragraph beginning with the words "Street-, or Directional
' Sign"; by striking from said ordinance Paragraphs (3), (4), (5), and. '
' (6) 'SECTION XII, and striking therefrom all of SECTION XII-A, said

Section 2. Ordinance No. 627 is further amended by striking.
therefrom that paragraph under SECTION III beginning with the words

paragraph:
"WHICH SAID DISTRICTS, together with their boundaries, (
are shown in full upon a certain map marked, "The Zoning

signed by the Mayor--Commissioner of said City, and consisting :
of an index.sheet and bearing the date of September 15, 1953,
said map aforesaid accompanies and is hereby adopted as
the official Zoning Map of the City of Clearwater, Florida, _
and by reference thereto is hereby made a part of this

Section 3. Ordinance No. 627, the Zoning Ordinance of the
City of Clearwater, Florida, is hereby amended by adding thereto the
following provision:
"PROVISIONS FOR ZONING ADDITIONS ANNEXED. The City
Commission of the City of Clearwater, shall, from the en- 4
€ actment of this Ordinance be and it is hereby granted the
,. '. power and authority,to zone any and all additions of whatever
nature'annexed to and incorporated into the City limits of
the-City of Clearwater, and to further zone all new land
and all other lands
areas created by filling or otherwise ,
included within the City limit: of the City of Clearwater >
from time to time, which lands have not been formerly zoned
by.the zoning ordinances of the City of Clearwater."
Section 4. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in con-
`= 'fl'ict herewit h or inconsistent with the provisions of this Ordinance
are hereby repealed.
Section S. This Ordinance-shall take effect thirty day's '
