Any person desiring to secure such a hol,icitort s permit shall apply therefor in writing over his or her signature to the Chief of Police on forms provided by the City and such application shall state (1) the name and address of the applicant, (2) the name and address of the person, firm or corpora-- tion by whom employed, (3) the length of service of such applicant . with such employer, (4) the place of residence and nature of employ- ment of the applicant during the last preceding year, (5) the nature or character of the goods, wares, merchandise or sere ices to be offered by the applicant, (6) the pe"sonal description of J• d. •?i° k.'..'?a,?l;. :y 'Fy. I'SECTIOH__?74 Such permits shall be carried at all times by the applicant to whom issued, when soliciting or canvassing in the City, and shall be exhibited by any such applicant whenever he or she shall be requested so to do by any police officer or any person solicited." "SEC'T'ION 58. Any such permit may be revoked by the Chief of Polico for violation by the holder thereof of any of the ordinances of the City of Clearwater, or of any State or Federal Law, or whenever the holder of such permit shall in the judgment of the Chief of Police cease to possess the character and quali- fications required by this Section for the issuance of such permit." «SECTION 59. Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of this Ordiance shall upon conviction in the Municipal Court of the City of Clearwater be fined not less than '5.00 or more than :1x'100.00, for each offense. Every day upon which violation shall occur, or upon which such violation shall continue, shall constitute a separate offense." "SECTION 60. Provided however this Ordinance shall not apply to representatives of wholesale houses calling on retail out- lets within the limits of the City of Clearwater. SECTION 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall become effective on and after its passage.
