coma a master plumber in said City after this drdinanco becomes effec-
tive.
(a) Sourneysan Plumber.
A Journeyman Plumber is a person who performs the manual work
of installing plumbing under the direction of a master plumber, and
whoever, after this ordinance becomes effective, desires to bocaro a
journeyman plumber must hold a Journeyman plumberea certificate from
the Hoard of Plumbing Examiners of the City of Clearwater, Florida.
SECTION 2. Every person deairing to engage in or work at the
business of plumbing, either no a master plumber or an a journeyr•.an
plumber in the City of Clearwater, Florida, shall, before no doing,
obtain a certificate of competency as herainafter provided, and a City
occupational license, whore the same in provided for the respective
occupations. No such occupational license shall be issued until said
certificate has been issued. Every person desiring any such certifi-
cote and license shall first mince written application therefor to the
Board of Plsmbing Examiners, hereinafter provided, through the plumb-
ing inspector on the farm which may be obtnined from the cfflee of the
plumbing inspector of said City. );very applicant for a rwKtor plurbors
certificate shall pay $20.00, and every applicant for a Journeyman plumb-
era certificate shall pay "'10.00, as a foe to the City to defray the coat
of the exaninatian which he shall talcs before the said gourd of Examiners.

Said inspector and assistant inspectors shall be practical plumbers of

prior to appointment.
SECTION 4. The City :Tanager is hereb; authorized and dir"ectad to
appoint a City ]health Officer, who shall also be }:norm as the Chair-
man of the City Board of Health. The City Health Officer ray be a per-
son holding, scric other office or position with the Citj of Clearwater,
and shall be qualified by experience to perform his duties. The said
City Health Officer stall assist the County Health Officer in enforcing
the rules and regulations of the State Board of Health, the County
Health Beard and the City of Clearwater, ant shall serve in th:e capacity
of Chari•man of the City Board of Health where the sarse is required by
