throughout a large portion of the length of said thoroughfare, but y
there are some points at which the City'dacn not own a one-hundred
foot right-of-way at this tide; and
WF.ER"AS it is the desir.i of the City to regulate future
construction along said thoroughfare in such a manner that no build-
ings will prevent the use of said thoroughfare for its fu.l width of
one-hundred feet;
NOVI, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDA2!IED 13Y THZ CITY COLDIISSION OF T11E
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
1. That hereafter no building shall be erected closer than
fifty feet to the center line of Cleveland Street as extended by Gulf-
to-Bay Boulevard from Greenwood avenue on the "est to Tampa, Bay on the
east.
2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.
3. This ordinance hball take effect immediately upon its
passage and adoption by the City Commission of the City of Clearwater,
Florida.

1+r. Richards explained to the Board that Dr. P. Phillips was
willing, to give the city a Quit Clain Dead to all of Del Oro Groves
Subd. except lots 20 th 84 both inclusive if the City would give hilt
a Fee Simple Deed to lots 20 to 84 both inclusive, said lots running
from Monterey Avenue on the West to Bay Shore Boulevard on the East
and bounded on the South by San Jose street, with the understanding
that San Jose would never be closed as a street. iiiayor Seavy request-
ed the City Attorney to prepare the proper papers covering such
transaction.
City Manager Hendrix told the Board that his Annual Report
would be ready for delivery to them sometime durin6 the month.
Mayor Seavy brought up the matter of the need of a Guard
fence arount the Gas Plant. 14r.Handrix said the cost would be
approximately $2000.00 for material delivered on the ground plus labor
for putting it up, and that the fence would include all property at the
