WHEREAS Lho practice of making political apeoehoa with the
use of aound-trucka or other electrical voloo amplifying devices
has greatly increased in recent years; and
WHEREAS the delivery of speeches in this manner in the
business districts and residential districts of the city has annoy-
ed many of our citizens, interfered with the business life of the
city, and oaused many complaints; and
WHEREAS it is the desire of the City of Clearwater to pro-
vide political candidates with a place at which they can make
speeches with sound amplifying devices and be heard -by all who ^}?`^i;4.'r°``"? t'3`
wish to hoar them
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COM.SIDBION OF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:

trucks or other electrical voice amplifying devices may hereafter
be made on City owned water front property at the foot of Cleveland
Street, in the area lying between Cleveland Street and the llunialpal
Auditorium.
Section 2. No political speeches, delivered in connection
