SECTION I: That section 5 of Ordinance llo. 400 of the City of
Clearvratur heretofore fully adopted, be, and the say+:e is hereby
amended to read as follows: The City Auditor and Clerk and City

1.1anager are hereby authorized to execute the Certificates in the
name of the City and the Mayor-Co;ruiiissioner is hereby 'authorized
and directed to countersign and affix, the seal of the City to
the certificates. The City Auditor and Clerk.. City 1,fanager and
Mayor-Commissioner are hereby authorized and directed to cause the
coupons attached to scud certificates to be executed by their
respective facsimile signatures. `1'12e Certificates numbered I to
67, both inclusive, in the aggregate principal amount of 467,000.00
shall be and they hereby are awarded to the United Stakes of
America; the Certificates nunibored 68 to 79, both inclusive,
aggregate the principal amount of 1412,000,100, be, and they here-
by are mrrarded to the First National Bank of Clearwater, Vlorida,
at the price of par,. plus accrued interest, and the City Treasurer
is hereby authorized and directed to deliver said Certificates
to the purchasers thereof at one time, or from bane to tirj:e, as
he may deem advisable,, upon receipt of payment therefor.
SECTION 2. An emergency exists and this Ordinance shall be in
force and effect from and rafter its passage.
