WHEREAS an Act was passed by the Ligislature of the State of Florida, at its regular session for the year 1933, entitled, ?.
"AN ACT REDEFINING THE TERRITORAL LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
- CLEARi'JATER, FLORIDA, EXCLUDING CERTAIN TERRITORY FROM THE CORPORATE
is LIMITS OF SAID CITY PRESERVING THE, LIENS':OF ALL MUNICIPAL TAXES
AND ASSESSMENTS HERETOFORE LEVIED AND ASSESED AGAINST LANDS IN THE
TERRITORY EXCLUDED BY THIS ACT, AND PROVIIS NO FOR A R E-IMEDUM TO
DETERMINE VnINTHER OR NOT THIS ACT SHALL GO INTO 17 ECT" ., and
WHEREAS Section 4 of said Act pr6vides that the City Commission
of the City of Clearwater is authorized to submit to the qualified
voters of said city, as constituted prior to the effective date of
said Act, the question of whether or not said Act shall go into
effect,
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Commission of the
City of Clearwater, Florida,
. First, that a Special Election be held on the 17th day Of
Oct., 1933 at the regular voting place at the City Hall, in
Clearwater, Florida, in accordance with said Act and the Charter '
.< and Ordinances of said City, in which election all qulified
electors shall be entitled to vote, and at said election, it shall ;. .:
be determined whether or not,, said Act shall go into effect.
