V1HB,ItEAS, the City of Clearwater has constructed ;
a new public causeway extending from the City of Clear-
water to Clearwater Beach Island, and has also erected a
certain steel pole line extension for the purpose of
maintaining a lighting system for the said causeway, said
steel poles being thirty-five (35) feet in height in place
thirty (30)foot poles, thereby providing sufficient
space on the said steel poles for the maintenance and use
of the Companyls lines above the lines of the Municipality;
and; I
WHEREAS, the Florida Pourer Corporation is in the f•;"i; ,,,.{' =s, :1,.
business of generating and distributing electric current
for the purpose of lighting heat and power and is
desirous of using and occupying the said steel pole line
extension so erected by the Municipality, and is further
desirous of maintaining its power lines over and across
the steel poles so erected or which may hereafter be "
erected on the said causeway and to maintain such
necessary supports, underground cables, conduits, conductors,
or.appliances,for•the steel poles now erected din the said
;causeway, or other' means. of conveyance to be used in

transmitting electric current; and

7 ME , the said City.of Cloarsrator and the Florida
Pourer Corporation, its legal representatives, successors
and assigns, are desirous of entering into an agreement; ;
relative to the grant of the right and privilege to use
and occupy the said steel pole line extension and to con-
struct and maintain the aforesaid equipment and appliances,
and '
WHEREAS, the representatives of the Florida power
corporation and the officials of the City of Clearwater,
Florida, have agreed upon the terms and conditions of the
said contract,

Section 1. That the City of Clearviater, Florida, for and in consideration of the sum of Five Thousand Dollars
(,15,000.00) to be paid by the Florida Power Corporation to
the City of Clearwater, Florida, hereby agrees to ma?_se and
enter into a contract with the Florida Power Corporation,
its legal representatives, successors and assigns, granting ..

j Section 2. That the City I„onager of the City of
Clearwater, Florida, and the Mayor Commissioner of the

Florida, are hereby authorized, empowered and directed
to accept, approve, confirm and execute under their hands and the seal of the Municipality that certain
contract hereinbefore mentioned in Section 1. =t
