230 • i , 47 2 I. - Ordinance ?j 230 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CI'T'Y COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER FLORIDA, TO BE ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE 'EXTENDING THE TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER$ FLORIDA". • WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, Florida, desires to change 4 its territorial limits by annexation of the unincorporated tracts of land lying contihuous to the said City of Clearwater, and within the E County of Pinellas , and WHEREAS., there are more than ten (10) registered voters residing in said territory so desired to he annexed. Section 2: The City Commission does hereby declare its intention to annex said tract of land to said city and to extend the corporate limits of said city so as to embrace the whole and each and every part of said territory, stLbject to the approval of the election t herein provided. Section 3: A Special.Election shall be held in the said City and in said territory for the purpose of submitting to the separate vote of the registered voters of said city and the registered voters residing in said territory, the question of whether said territoty shall be annexed to the said city Arld.the territorial limits of said city shall be extended so as to embrace Bald' said territory. SECTION b: This Ordinance shall be published in the"Clearwater Evening Sun" a newspaper of general circulation published in the said city, once a week for four (4) conse6Ative weeks prior to the said election.
