EXTENDING THE TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER,

„WHEREA,.S, the City of Clearwater, Florida, desires to
R change its territorial limits by the annexation of the unincor•
porated tracts of land'lyi4 contiguous to the said City of
Clearwager, and within the County of Pinellas, and `

WHEREAS, There are more than ten (10) registered

voters residing in said territory so desired to be annexed,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER# FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That it is hereby dealared1 to be the desire and
j intention of the City of Clearwater, Florida, to extend its :' i.
territorial limits by the annexation of the territory herein ,
described which said territory is unincorporate& and lying
contiguous to the, City of Clearwater, Florida, and within the
'
County of Pinellas, there being more than (10) registered voters'
residing in said territory, snid'•terkitoyy being particularly ,
described as follows, to-wit: '

"All of the territory lying between the present city
limits of the city of Clearwater, Florida, and the following
described boundry, to-wit: Beginning at a point 30 feet south
of a point which is 455 feat west of the northeast corner of ,
the southwest quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 21, •
Township 29, South of Range 15 East, said point being-the
center of " A" Street and Fourth Avenue prolonged, according
to the man of Bellesir, run thence South 305 feet, thahce East s=;
316 feet, thence south 600 feet, thence east .109 feet, to the` '
west line of Fort Harrison Avenue,, known as Third Avenue as ,
per ssidl map of Bbllegir, thence south along the west line of s
Fort Harrison Avenue 1081 feet, more or less, to the center ,.

along said territorial limits through the craters of the Gulf

3betion 2: The City Commission does hereby declare Its
intention to annex said tract of land-to said city and to
extend'the corporate limits of said city so as to embrace

to the approval of the election herein providad.
Section 3: A Special Election shall be held in the said city
i and in said territory for the purpose of submitting to the
separate vote of the registered voters of said city and the `
registered' voters residing in said territory, the question ox,_ f
whether said. territory shell be annexed to the sold city and the .
territorial limits of said city shall be extended so as to embrace
said territory. Said election shall be head on the 30 day of

for the purpose of holding said election in sold territory at

and make the returns so required by lawn and if the said .'
inspectors and clerks, or either .of them, cannot act or will
not act, other inspectors and arlerks may be appointed to
discharge such duties. Ballots to be used in said election shall '

Each elector shall prepare his ballot by making a cross
