An Ordinance to be entitled an ordinance Amending Ordinanco
196 of the City of Clearwater Fla. Entitled "An Ordinance
Amending 'Sect;ian lOb of the Official Code of the City of Clearwater,
approved May 31st A. D. 1916.
i Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Clearwater,
Florida.
Section 1: That Ordinance No. 195 of the City of Clearwater,

A Fla. approved the 16th day of June 1920 be amended so as to
reade as follows.:
s section 1: That section 105 of the Official Code of the
City of Clearwater, approved t,ay 31st, A. D. 1916, be amended
so as' to read as follows:

If the cost of paving or otherwise improving any street, as
provided in this Article, apportioned and assessed to abutting

completion of such. paving or improving of such street or streets,

cates against such real estate liable for the cost of such
improvements, wbiich certificates shall bear interest at the rate of
eight per cent per anri= until paid, and when not otherwise specially
provided by resolution of the City Council, said certificates shall
?`.. be payable and redeemable in ten equal; annual installments from
. the date thereof, PROVIDED, that such certificates any be redeemed
at any time before maturity. If default s}iall_ be made in the
payment of any annual instali,aent on any said certificates or any
part thereof. The holder of said certificate or certificates or
t +s W ?'.' '' the City of Clearwater shall have the right and option of de-
?'-{,?.? olaring the whole amount of said certificate or certificates im-
mediately due and payable and may proceed to collect the whole
of said certificate. The City shall have the power to hold and
collect, sell' or transfer, hypothecate or put up as collater$l,
