'?? ? r i3s .?', •}•'; CLEARWATER, FLORIDA; Section 1. That the running at large of any chickens, geese, ducks, turkeys or other domestic fowls within any of the streets, parks or other public pia ces off said City or upon the premises of any person other than the owner of such fowls alOall be deemed a public nuisance. Section 2. When it shall come to the knowledge of the chief of police of said City that any such fowls are running at large or when any citizen of said City shall- make complaint to the chief of police of any such fowls so running at large, it shall be the duty of the chief of police to immediately ascertain, if possible, the name of the owner or owners of such fowls ad forthwith to notify such owner who shall be recDired to take such steps as may be necessary to prevent the running at large of any such fowls within 24 hours after re- ceiving such notice. Any owner or owne_s of such fowls who,shall fail or refuge to comply with such notice and who shall allow or permit any such fowls to run at large in said City after the lapse of 24 hours after receiving such notice from the chief of police or any police officer of said City,, shall be deemed Guilty of maintain- ing a public nusance and shall upon conviction be fined not exceeding 200.00 dollars or imprisoned in the City Jail or at labor upon the streets or other public work of the City not exceeding 90 days, or be punished by both such fine and imprisonment at the discretion of the Mgyor. . Section 3.
