BY GRADING AND PAVING THE SMAE WITH VITRIFIED BRICK END TO -AUIiiORIZE
THE CITY COUNCIL TO CONTRACT FOR SUCH IMPROVEMENT AND TO AUTRORIZE THE ?
ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES OF INDEBTEDNESS OR REVENUE CERTIFICATES TO
THE AMOUNT OF THREE THOUSAND 1=0 -HUNDREH FIFTY DOLLARS TO PROVIDE .

Whereas, the City Council deem it expendient, necessary and
for the beat interest of the City that that part of Seminole Street
in said City from its intersection with Fort Harrison Avenue westward
to the waters of Clearwater Bay be improved by gradimg and paving with
vitrified brick twenty-four(24) feet wide, with combination concrete
' curb and gutter , and such storm seweras may be necessary, and inlets; and,
Whereas, it is necessary that provision be made to raise
the necessary funds to pay the cost of such improvement:
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL CF THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:

Section 1. That a special-election be and the same is
hereby called to be held in the City Hall on the 3rd day of April,
A. D. 1917, to be participated in by the taxpayers on real estate,
whd are over the age of twenty-one years and who have been residents
in the said City for three months of the twelve months immediately
preceeding said special election, for the purpose of voting upon
h. } the proposition of authorizing the City Council to make such improve- f-.
ment and to authorize the City Council to contract for such improve-
ment and to authorize the CityCounci.l to issue interest bearing
certifi.catee of Indebtedness or revenue certificates to the amount of

provisions of said ordinance, then and in that event the said City
Council shall have full power and authority to do all acts necessary ?
