BE IT ORDAINIM BY THE CITY CWNCIL OF TH]; CITY OF
CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1 That Section 83, of Article 3 of Chapter
3, of the Revised Code of the City of Clearwater, Florida, be „ :.
and the same is hereby amended as follows, to-wit:
Real estate or rent collecting agents, each 15.00
Any individual, firm or corporation doing business of
buying and selling real estate for profit and all
persons
acting as sub-agent of any licensed real estate dealer or
' who shall demand or receive any commission or compensation of
any kind for effecting the sale or excha=-iQe of any real es-
t,ate shall be deemed a real estate agent and shall be re-
quired to pay the above prescribed license.
4. Section 2. Each aixl every railroad company entering,
i passing through or doing business within said City shall pay
an aruiual license tax of twenty-five (' 25.00) dollars.
Section 3. Any street railway_ operating any line
` or lines within said City shall nay an annual license tax
of Ten Dollars per male far each mile of track within said City.
Section 4. Telephone companies using the streets of
the City for their poles or other apparatus shall pay a li-
cense tax of One Hundred Dollars per Annum.
Section 5. Any person, firm or corporation or the
agent., servant or employee of ouch who shall violate any of
mnthe provisions of this ordinance shal..l., upon conviction, ' be
