:. :. Section 1. That it shall be unlawful for any porson, firm
i
or corporation,, or the agent, servant or omployee of such, to sell i
or offer for sale, or dispense any intoxicating liquors, wines- l
or beer within the Oity of Clearwater until after such person,
firm or corporation, ohall have applied for and obtained a license
from the City Tax Collector as provided by ordinance.
Section 2. A license fee of 2000/00 Dollars per year shall
be charged and collected from all parsons, .firms or corporations
.. engaging in the sale of or dispensing intoxicating liquors, wines
or beer for each place of business in said City, which said
license shall begin on the lst day of October of each and every
year and shall expire at midnight on the 30th day of September
of the following year; and no license shall be issued for a
' fractional part of a year.
Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating the
provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be punished
'. by a fine not exceeding Three Hundred Dollard, or by imprisonment
or at labor on the streets or other public works of said City `
not exceeding three months, or by both such fine and imprisonment
at the discretion of the Mayor.
Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
with this ordinance be and the same are hereby repealed,
