AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN (RDINANCE PROVIDING FOR
THE ISSUANCE Cu' FIVE PERCENT, THIRTY YEAR, FUNDING BONDS
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, IN THE AMOUNT OF FIFTY
THOUSAND DOLLARS, PRESCRIBING THE FORM AND DETAILS OF
SAID BONDS AND THE INTEREST COUPONS TO BE THERETO ATTACHED,
AND PROVIDING FOR THE LEVY OF AN ANNUAL TAX TO PAY THE
PRINCIPAL AND INTEREST THEREON".
WHEREAS, at an eleotion=duly and legally called and,
held in the City of Clearwater, Florida, on the 7th day
of March, A.D. 1.916, more than a majority of the qualified
electors voting at said election voted in favor of the
j issuance of bonds of said City to the amount of Fifty
Thousand ($50,000.00) Dollars for the purpose of paying
off the outstanding unsecured indegtedness of said City, and
tiYSEREAS, all acts, conditions and things required to
.?j. be done precedent to and in the issuance of the above
described bonds have been done in regular and due form,
time and manner as required by laws
NOW, THEREFCRE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNOIL
i? (F THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That for the purpose of raising funds for
paying the outstanding unsecured indebtedness of the City

of Clearwater, Florida, there is hereby ordered and
` directed to be issued One Hundred negotiable coupon bonds
of said City numbered from One to One Hundred, both
inclusive, in the aggregate amount of Fifty Thousand
,.. ($50,000.00) Dollars. Said bonds shall be known and
designated as "FUNDING BONDS"; shall be of the denomin-
ation of Five Hundred Dollars each; shall be dated April

May 27, 1915, and Ordinance No. 164 duly and rogularly
passed by the City Council on the 12th day of 'January,,
A. D. 1916.
And it is hereby certified, rocited and declared that
the' indebtedness funded by this issue of bonds is an
existing, valid and binding obligation of said City;
that the issue and sale of said bonds was ratified by a
majority tote of the qualified electors of said City who
.? are oviners of real estate within said City, at a special
a election called and hold for that purpose on the 7th day
of March, 1916; that all acts, conditions and things
required to be done precedent to and in the issuing
I of said bonds have been properly done, have happened,

exceed any Charter, statutory or constitutional limitation.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, WE, the undersigned, officers

ments shall severally become due, and to provide a sinking
fund for the payment of the principal of said bonds at !

Section 6. That any, informality, irregularity,
neglect or omission in the proceedings or or by the said
" City Council, or in any other proceedings relative to the
issuance of these bonds, or in the levying and collection
of the taxes herein authorized,,. that may exist, shall in
nowise impair, invalidate or annul the said bonds or
interest coupons.
