An Ordinance prohibiting shows in tents or canvas in certain
territory, of. the Town of Clearwater.
BE • IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF CLEARWATER ,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. That from and after the passage and approval of
this ordinance it shall be unlawful for any person, firm, corporation
association or stock company to exhibit any show, performance or .
of amusement under tent or canvas cover, booth or stall upon, any

Sot , tracts or parcel of land , street or alley lying west of Fort
iHarrison Avenue. `
i Section 2. Any person, firm, or corporation, associ,ation'or ;
stock company guilty of a violation of the foregoin section shall
l be punished by fine not exceeding two hundred dollars or imprison-
not exceeding sixty days, or by both such fine and impris6nment
ment
in the discretion of the Mayor. ?.
Section 3. It shall be unlawful for the town clerk to issue
any licence to any person, firm, corporation, association or stock-
company for the purpose of showing or exhibiting any show, performance
or place of amusement under any tent, canvas cover, booth or stall
f untill such person, firm, corporation, association or stock company

has exhibited to him, his or her its permision from the owner of said ..
lots , tracts or parcel of land upon which said show, performance or.
1plage of amusement is to be placed or carried on; and shall have ssser-

tained the location of said lot to be east of said Fort Harrison Avenue.

Section 4 . All ordianances or parts of ordinances in con-
