Section 1. That no person, persons or corporation shall be allowed
to store or keep or have mn their premises within that part of the
Town of Clearwater lying west of the tracks of the Atlantic Coast
Linn Railroad, any Kerosene, gasolene, naptha or other explosives in
any tank or other receptacle containing to exceed 300 gallons, and
no tank shall be erected within 300 feet of any residence or business
house,-provided however; that underground tanks for less quantities
than 320 gallons shall be permitted.
+ Section 2. That any person , firm or corporation desiring to establish
and maintain tanks or other storage receptacles for kerosene, gasolene
naptha or other inflammable oils within the Town of Clearwater ,
Florida , shall first apply for and obtain a permit from the Town
Council for the same, which permit may be granted by the Town Council if
said tanks or repository for such oils be located east of the Atlantic
Coast Line Railroad tracks, and if in the judgement of the Town
Council such tanks or repository shall not endanger or injure the ad-
joining property.
Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation , or agent violating any
of the preceedi ng sections of this ordinance shall be deemed B'ailty
of committing a nuisance and sbbll upon conviction be fined not more
than two hundred dollars, or sixty days imprisonment, or both at the
discretion of the Mayor.
