BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TMVN OF CLEAR- WATER. Section 1. Any,-person,, or persons, firm, or corporation engaging in the sale or rent of real estate (other than his 'E own property) will pay to the Town of Clearwater the sum of ten dollars per year, or fraction of a year, for a license to engage in such real estate buliness, " } Section 2. All licenses shall begin on the tat day of f. i year Ovtober of each and everyl,and shall end on the 30th day f of September of each and every year; except that licenses for the fractional part of a year shall be dated as of' the day on which they are issued, and shall empire on the 30th ?. 1 day' of the following September of the year in w11"h_'.thgy.ajb issued; and no license shall be issued for a shorter period than to the 30th day of September from the date of issuance. Section 3. Any person or persons, firm or corporation, not ?. having paid their license tax within ten days, after such license tax is due, shall be deemed guilty of violation of this t ordinance, and shall be arrest6d and fined an amount equal to twJ:ce the amount 'of the license tax, and costs. ' Section 4. All ordinnnces and parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective upon } its passage by the Cotncil and approval by the Mayor, in compliance with the Charter of the Town of Clearwater.
