AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, r ti
VACATING A CERTAIN PORTION OF RIGHT-OF-WAY
IN GOULD AND EWING FIRST ADDITION TO CLEAR-
WATER HARBOR, PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA; `
PROVIDING FOR PROPER NOTICE OF PROPOSED ;' "' ..'' :';,,?•
ENACTMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE
DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, it has been requested by Anthony L. Shoemaker, City
Manager, of the City of Clearwater, owner of certain real property in 1ft4?i'?' x? . ?'a
Gould and Ewing First Addition to Clearwater Harbor, in the City of
Clearwater, Florida, that the City of Clearwater, Florida, vacate a
certain portion of right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, after proper public notice and public hearing thereon,
the City Commission finds that said portion of right-of-way is not necessary
nor required for municipal use and it is deemed to be to the best interest
and advantage of the City and the general public that the same be vacated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA;
Section 1. That the following:
Commencing at the SW corner of Lot 7, Block 7,
Gould & Ewing First Addition to Clearwater Harbor,
as recorded in Plat Book 1, page 24 of the Public Records
of Hillsborough County, Florida, of which Pinellas County
was once a part, said point being the P. O. B.; thence
S 89.1310011 E, 113.44 feet along the South line of Lot 7;
thence S 04.5112111 W, 2.76 feet; thence N 87.49'191' W,
113.28 feet to the P. O. B. ,
be and the same is hereby vacated, closed and released, and the City of
Clearwater hereby quit claims and releases all of its right, title and
interest thereto to the persons, firms or corporations entitled thereto
by law.
Section 2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to record this
ordinance in the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida.
Section 3. Notice of the proposed enactment of this ordinance has
been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in accordance
with Section 166.041, Florida Statutes.

.CS WHEREAS, it has been requested by Anthony L. Shoemaker, City
Manager, of the City of Clearwater, owner of certain real property in
Gould and Ewing First Addition to Clearwater Harbor, in the City of

to Clearwater, Florida, that the City of Clearwater, Florida, vacate a
certain portion of right-of-way; and
WW 0 E- WHEREAS, after proper public notice and public hearing thereon,
U p. the City Commission finds that said portion of right-of-way is not necessary

V nor required for municipal use and it is deemed to be to the twat interest
and advantage of the City and the general public that the same be vacated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That the following:
Commencing at the SW corner of Lot 7, Block 7,
Gould & Ewing First Addition to Clearwater Harbor,
as recorded in Plat Book 1, page 24 of the Public Records
of Hillsborough County, Florida, of which Pinellas County
-0 was once a part, said point being the P. O. B.; thence
