AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
ANNEXING A PORTION OF LOT 13, PINE DELL SUBDIVISION
PINELLAS COUNTY, FLORIDA INTO THE CORPORATE
LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, AND
REDEFINING THE BOUNDARY LINES OF THE CITY TO
INCLUDE SAID ADDITION ACCORDING TO THE PROVISIONS
OF THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
AND THE LAWS OF FLORIDA; AFTER PROPER PUBLIC

WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida, '" f a
received a sworn petition from Frank T. Craddock requesting the City to
annex a certain parcel of real estate described hereinafter, owned by him,
into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said
request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on August 2, 1979, voted
unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to
set up a public hearing thereon for the determination and establishing of
fire district classification and to prepare an ordinance to annex said parcel
of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater in accordance
with the provisions of Chapter 171, Florida Statutes; and
WHEREAS, on September 2U, 1979 the City Commission of the City
of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the
determination and establishment of fire district classification for said
real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper
public hearing, the City of Clearwater, acting by and through its City
Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Section 171.044,
Florida Statutes, hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of
Clearwater, Florida, and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as

to include the following described parcel of real property in Pinellas
County, Florida, and establish fire district classification therefore
Lot 13, Pine Dell Subdivision, according to the map
or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 45, page 26
of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida,
LESS, starting at the most southeasterly corner of
Lot 13, Pine Dell Subdivision, run N 89'25127" W,
along the southerly boundary of said Lot 13, 29.67
feet; thence N 42'58107' E, 20.00 feet to the north-
easterly boundary of said Lot 13; thence S 4780115311
E, along said northeasterly boundary of said Lot 13,
21.91 feet to the P. O. B.
The above described property is hereby designated
Fire District No. 2.
Section 2. The City Commission hereby formally and according to
law, accepts the dedication of all easements, streets, parks, plazas, places,
rights-o£-way and other dedications to the public which have heretofore been
made by plat, deed or user within the areas so annexed.
Section 3. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning
Director are directed to include and set out and show upon the official maps
and records of the City of Clearwater the foregoing property and the fire
district classification therefor.
Section 4. This ordinance and notice of the proposed enactment of
same has been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in
accordance with Section 166.041, Florida Statutes, and Section 171. 044,
Florida Statutes.
Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon
its passage and enrollment in the City of Clearwater Ordinance Book and
a copy thereof being filed in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of
Pinellas County, Florida. In accordance with Section 171. 091, and Section
171. 044, Florida Statutes, a certified copy shall be filed with the Department
of State of the State of Florida.
