'?,,$ WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida, received a sworn petition in the form of an agreement, by the terms of which the property owner agreed that the agreement could be considered as the property ownerts petition, from Electrical Systems and Communications Co., Inc. requesting the City to annex a certain parcel of real estate described hereinafter, owned by it, into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida; and WHEREAS, the City Commission, after due consideration of said request for annexation, at a regular meeting held on February 15, 1979, voted unanimously to accept said request and authorized the proper officials to set up a public hearing; thereon for the determination and establishing of fire district classifications and to prepare an ordinance to annex said parcel of real estate into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 171, Florida Statutes; and WHEREAS, on April 5, 1979, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, after proper public notice, held a public hearing for the determination and establishment of fire district classification for said real property; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA: Ord. #1931 6/2]/79 _y 1 f / ?,t ffl 1 .1. e Section 1. After its evaluation of all evidence presented at a proper ,-??,? W-M, public hearing, the City .cif Clearwater, acting by and through its City Commission, by the authority and under the provisions of Chapter 171.044, Florida Statutes, hereby annexes into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida, and redefines the boundary lines of said City so as to include the following described parcel of real property in Pinellas County, Florida, and establishes fire district classification therefor; A portion of Dots 11 and 12, Pinellas Groves, in the NE 1 /4 of Section 12, Township 29 South, Range 15 East, as recorded in Plat Book 3, page 15 of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida, more particularly described as follows; Begin at the SW corner of the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 12, Township 29 South, Range 15 East, run thence N 00°1710011 E, along the quarter section line, 30.0 feet; thence S 89°20'0211 E, 906.62 feet for a P. 0. B.; thence N 000051541' E, 200 feet; thence S 89°2010211 E, 141. 30 feet; thence S 00°0515411 W, 200 feet; thence N 89 °20'021' W, 141. 30 feet to the P. O. B. , together with abutting streets. The above described property is hereby designated Fire District No. 1. Section Z. The City Commission hereby formally and according to law, accepts the dedication of all easements, streets, parks, plazas, places, rights-of-way and other dedications to the public which have heretofore been made by plat, deed or user within the areas so annexed. Section 3. The City Engineer, the City Clerk and the Planning Director are directed to include and set out and show upon the official maps and records of the City of Clearwater the foregoing property and the fire district classification therefor. Section 4. This ordinance and notice of the proposed enactment of same has been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in accordance with Chapter 166.041, Florida Statutes, and Chapter 171. 044, Florida Statutes. -a- b/21/79 Ord.
