PROVIDING FOR PROPER NOTICE OF THE PROPOSED
ENACTMENT; AND PROVIDING FOR THE EFFECTIVE
DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, Section 10. 01 of Ordinance No. 1830 made the provisions
of Chapter 9710, Special Acts of Florida, 1923, as amended, an ordinance
subject to modification and repeal as any other ordinances; and

WHEREAS, Section 8Z through and including Section 89 are otherwise

treated and should therefore be repealed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA:
Section 1. That Section 82 through and including Section 89 of
Chapter 9710, Special Acts of Florida, 1923, as amended by Chapter 21154
Special Acts of Florida, 1941, and as amended by Chapter 69-951, . Special
Acts of Florida, 1969, which has become an ordinance pursuant to Section
10. 01 of Ordinance No. 1830, be and the same are hereby repealed.
Section Z. Notice of the proposed enactment of this ordinance has
been properly advertised in a newspaper of general circulation in accordance
with Section 166. 041, Florida Statutes.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective immediately
upon its passage.

WHEREAS, it has been determined that the following sections of

should therefore be repealed;
